Application Support Team Leader

Job Summary

The Application Support Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the support and maintenance of business applications across the automotive organization, ensuring seamless operations for sales, aftersales, finance, supply chain, and other business functions. The role will lead the support team, manage incidents, and drive continuous improvement in application performance and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Application Support team.
  • Ensure the availability and optimal performance of all business applications.
  • Manage and resolve escalated application issues within agreed SLAs.
  • Coordinate with business departments, vendors, and IT teams to address system-related concerns.
  • Support dealership management systems (DMS), ERP systems, CRM platforms, and other automotive applications.
  • Monitor application performance and implement improvements.
  • Prepare support reports and KPIs.
  • Train and mentor team members and end users when needed.
  • Participate in application enhancement and implementation projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in application support.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Experience supporting ERP, DMS, CRM, or enterprise applications.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
