Job Summary:
As a Body and Paint Section Head, you will provide effective leadership to the body and paint team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance. You will oversee the daily operations of the section, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and adhere to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all repairs and painting jobs meet company quality standards.
- Plan and allocate work to technicians to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Inspect vehicles before, during, and after repair to ensure quality control.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of all work orders.
- Coordinate with service advisors regarding job status and customer updates.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Control paint and material consumption to minimize waste and cost.
- Handle customer complaints related to body and paint work professionally.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or any equivalent degree.
- 5-8 years of experience in-service operation in a reputable dealership.
- Advanced understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership, situational awareness, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent Computer skills using Microsoft Office / Inventory Systems.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English (verbal and written).
