Facility Engineer

Job Summary

The Facility Engineer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and improvement of building systems and facilities. The role ensures that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems operate efficiently and comply with company standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and safety systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers for repairs and maintenance work.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare maintenance schedules and technical reports.
  • Troubleshoot facility-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support energy management and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Manage facility improvement and renovation projects.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment, and service contracts.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in the same filed.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems.
