Senior AP Accountant

Job Summary

The Senior Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and financial records. The role supports financial operations within an automotive environment, including supplier management, cost control, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and process supplier invoices related to automotive parts, services, and overheads
• Manage high-volume transactions with local and international suppliers
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve payment discrepancies
• Reconcile vendor statements and ensure accuracy of balances
• Handle vendor inquiries regarding payments and accounts
• Perform monthly AP reconciliations and aging analysis
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare and execute payment runs (bank transfers, checks, etc.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years in Accounts Payable
• Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of AP processes and financial controls
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent English language
