Job Summary
The Warranty Engineer is responsible for managing and evaluating warranty claims related to vehicles and automotive components. The role focuses on diagnosing technical issues, identifying root causes of failures, and coordinating with internal teams, dealers, and manufacturers to ensure proper claim handling while improving product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, validate, and process warranty claims in line with OEM and company policies
- Diagnose vehicle faults and analyze the failed parts to determine root causes
- Coordinate with service centers, workshops, and dealers for proper troubleshooting and repair actions
- Communicate with OEMs regarding warranty approvals, technical cases, and escalations
- Monitor warranty KPIs, costs, and claim trends to identify recurring issues
- Prepare detailed technical reports on warranty cases and failure analysis
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with warranty procedures
- Support technical and service teams with guidance on warranty policies and claim submission.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to reduce repeated failures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and service quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, or Mechatronics engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in automotive warranty, Aftersales, or technical service.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical systems).
- Experience working with OEM warranty systems and policies is a plus.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Very Good command of English.
