Proton is a Malaysia-based company that specifies in automobile design, manufacturing, distribution, and sales. It was established in 1983 as the first national badged car company in Malaysia and the company headquartered in Shah Alam, Selangor and represented in more than 20 countries. The brand manufactures and markets several models that suit customer tastes and preferences as sedan, SUV, and hatchback vehicles.

Ezz Elarab acquired the brand in 2004 and kept growing over the years in Egypt. In 2018, Ezz Elarab has introduced Proton’s new Corporate Identity (CI) to its new premises and distribution network to be the first to apply Proton’s latest showroom CI outside of Malaysia and this move shows our aim of building a consistent brand experience and image for Proton locally.
