Smart originated from a visionary concept introduced by Mercedes-Benz in 1972, aimed at redefining urban transportation through a compact and intelligent vehicle tailored for city life. Over the decades, Smart has preserved its identity of bold design and innovation, evolving into a brand that embodies the future of urban mobility. Its mission and vision are unified: “To transform mobility into meaningful experiences” and “To design a smarter future together.” In April 2024, Ezz Elarab Star was appointed as the sole importer of Smart vehicles in Egypt. The official launch took place on January 14, 2025, marking a new era for Smart in the region. The first models introduced include the Smart #1 and Smart #3, both representing a blend of sustainability, tech, and modern design.
